I will work to resolve the issues my clients are dealing with, using whatever techniques are effective. I now have been working in the massage field in WNC for more than 35 years. I Have helped those with injuries and those with common chronic pain. I am sure I can help you. If I can't I will find someone who can. I help to shift long held patterns of tension, often in one session. Where I've gotten to in my career I just charge whatever massage I do for the time that I spend doing it I can do both relaxation or therapeutic, both at the same rate.
Therapeutic massage

Therapeutic massage works to relieve chronically held muscles that seem to "always" ache or don't seem to get released through other therapy. NMT works to re-educate the muscle back to its desired state of relaxation. Mostly based in neuromuscular therapy, IASTM, and myofascial release. These techniques also helps to speed injury recovery.
Kinesiology Taping
$10
Kenesiology tape helps to myofascially pull muscles back to their orignal position. The taping can be worn for days and has an accumlative effect to reposture the muscles.
IASTM
IASTM stands for Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. based on Gua Shaw and Graston"s. This technique uses flat edged tools to release adhesions held in fascia and overused muscles. I do not bruise, release happens without tissue damage. often feels gentle.
